Certificates, Badges & Advancement Policy

Badges represent milestones, skills, participation, or completion of specific activities. Badges are recognition within the Academy and do not carry external accreditation.

Certificates represent completion of a course, level, pathway, or capstone. Certificates do not guarantee employment, licensing, external accreditation, fellowship placement, income, or acceptance by outside organizations.

Nucleus Academy uses four advancement levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Fellowship Preparation (Future). Each level may require completion of required courses, lesson completion, assessment performance, reflection submission, project submission, capstone completion, mentor review, admin review, and no unresolved blocking flags.

The designation of Fellowship Ready means a student is being considered for future opportunities only. Fellowship Ready does not guarantee placement, payment, employment, or acceptance into any external role or program.

Administrators may approve, deny, pause, remediate, or override advancement per program rules. Administrator decisions on advancement are final within the platform.
