Nucleus Academy collects account information including name, email, role, login status, and profile. For students, the platform collects learning records including enrollment, lesson progress, quiz results, reflections, submissions, badges, certificates, capstone status, and readiness reviews. Parent and guardian information is collected when consent or observer access applies. Mentor, instructor, and administrator notes are collected as part of the educational process. In-app messages and moderation records are collected for safety and program support. Technical information including device type, browser, session data, logs, and security events is collected. Support requests, legal acceptance records, and consent records are also collected.

Nucleus Academy uses collected information to create and manage accounts, deliver courses, track progress, recommend courses, support mentor, instructor, parent, and admin visibility, review capstones, award badges and certificates, maintain safety, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, and improve learning design.

Additional consent rules apply to minors. Parent or guardian consent may be required before a minor's account is activated. Nucleus Academy does not sell student personal information. Student learning records are not used for unrelated advertising or commercial profiling. Nucleus Academy collects only the information needed to operate the Academy, support learning, maintain safety, and meet legal and administrative requirements.

Information is shared only with authorized administrators, assigned mentors and instructors, parent or guardian observers where applicable, service providers supporting hosting, authentication, messaging, analytics, security, or operations, and legal or safety parties when required by law or necessary to protect users. Nucleus Academy does not sell student personal information to third parties.

Data is kept only as long as needed for educational, safety, legal, operational, or recordkeeping purposes. Admin-configurable retention settings may apply where feasible.

Nucleus Academy uses role-based access controls, permission checks, audit logs, secure authentication, and restricted admin access to protect user information.

Nucleus Academy uses session cookies to maintain login state and analytics tools to understand how the platform is used. These technologies do not collect sensitive personal information for advertising purposes. Specific details are configurable by administrators.

Users are notified of breaches affecting their personal information as required by applicable law.
