Parent & Guardian Information

Everything you need to know about Nucleus Academy and how we keep students safe while they learn.

What Is Nucleus Academy?

Nucleus Academy is an educational program that helps teens and young adults build professional skills in technology, entrepreneurship, AI, financial literacy, communication, and community leadership. The program uses structured courses, assessments, and simulated Project Labs to prepare participants for future career opportunities.

Safety & Privacy First

All student profiles are private by default. Students cannot browse or view other students' information. There is no open messaging between students. All communications are announcement-based and reviewed by program staff. We do not expose student ages or personal information publicly.

What Mentors See

Each student is assigned a dedicated mentor who can view their coursework progress, assessment attempts, assignment submissions, and project lab work. Mentors provide feedback, scoring, and guidance to help students grow. Mentors only see their own assigned students.

No Unpaid Labor

Nucleus Academy does not assign real company tasks to students. All Project Labs are clearly labeled as educational simulations. Paid internships and on-the-job training may be offered in the future when funding, grants, or sponsorships allow — but they are not part of the current program.

Guardian Involvement

For applicants under 18, a parent or guardian contact is required during the application process. We are developing a guardian portal for future phases that will allow parents and guardians to view their child's progress and achievements.
