Terms of Use

Nucleus Academy is an educational platform providing learning content, project preparation, mentorship support, AI-assisted learning, and digital readiness training. Nucleus Academy is not a licensed school unless separately stated in writing, not a bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, money transmitter, or custodial wallet provider, and not a legal, tax, financial, or employment placement service. Nucleus Academy does not guarantee employment, income, certification, fellowship placement, or business opportunity.

By accessing or using Nucleus Academy, you agree to these Terms and all policies referenced in the Legal Center. Students under the age required for independent consent need parent or guardian review and approval before using the platform.

All users must provide accurate registration information, use the platform for lawful educational purposes, treat students, mentors, instructors, parents, and staff with respect, protect their account credentials, follow safety and acceptable use rules, and report unsafe or suspicious behavior. The following are prohibited: harassment, threats, fraud, impersonation, cheating, exploitation, tool misuse, and any attempt to bypass security or access controls.

Students must complete lessons honestly, submit their own work, and participate respectfully. Students remain responsible for their own submissions even when receiving AI or mentor guidance. Students may not use AI tools to complete assignments dishonestly or to avoid learning.

Parent and guardian accounts provide observer access to view student progress, milestones, notices, and review status. Parent observers may not unlock courses, impersonate students, alter scores, or interfere with administrator decisions regarding advancement or program status.

Mentors and instructors must follow the Mentor / Instructor Code of Conduct. Mentors and instructors may support learning, review submissions, provide feedback, and recommend advancement. Final authority over advancement, capstone acceptance, and certificate approval remains with administrators.

Administrators may review progress, lock and unlock courses, assign remediation, approve or deny advancement, review capstones, remove unsafe content, suspend or restrict accounts, require re-acceptance of policies, and investigate violations. Administrator decisions regarding advancement and program status are final within the platform.

Course access may be gated by program level, course completion, assessment performance, capstone review, mentor recommendation, administrator approval, parent consent, account status, or safety concerns. Certificates, badges, and advancement are not automatic unless the platform confirms all requirements are met.

Nucleus Academy may suspend or remove accounts for violations of these Terms, safety risks, tool misuse, privacy compromise, or interference with Academy operations. Suspended users lose access to courses, progress, messaging, certificates, and program records during the suspension period.

Nucleus Academy may update these Terms. Material changes may require review and re-acceptance before continued use. The Effective Date shown on this page governs which version applies to your use.

Nucleus Academy owns the platform content, including courses, lessons, and instructional materials. Students own their original submissions and grant Nucleus Academy a limited license to host, display, and review submissions for educational and program purposes. Users may not copy, redistribute, or resell Academy content without written permission.

The platform is provided on an as-is basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nucleus Academy does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nucleus Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction listed in the Legal Entity Settings section below, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

These Terms and all policies in the Legal Center constitute the entire agreement between you and Nucleus Academy regarding use of the platform.

Upon termination, your access to courses, progress, messages, certificates, and program records is removed. Records may be retained where required by law or Academy policy.
