Mentor / Instructor Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct defines the professional standards required of all mentors and instructors at Nucleus Academy.

Professional Standards

Mentors and instructors must use approved Academy channels, support learning without completing work for students, encourage students through confusion, avoid shaming, ridicule, intimidation, and favoritism, protect student privacy, escalate safety concerns, avoid conflicts of interest, never request sensitive personal information, passwords, wallet keys, seed phrases, money, tokens, or financial account access, and follow all administrator instructions and Academy policies.

Permitted Activities

Mentors and instructors may review assigned student progress, provide feedback, recommend remediation or advancement, help with project preparation, and support capstone review.

Prohibited Activities

Mentors and instructors may not guarantee advancement, employment, or fellowship placement, make unauthorized private arrangements with students, move communications with minors off-platform without approval, or use student data for personal purposes.

Reporting Obligations

Mentors and instructors must report safety concerns, suspicious behavior, and policy violations through approved Academy channels. Failure to report known safety concerns is a violation of this Code.
